What we collect, what we send to Meta, and how to turn advertising measurement off.

Cookie settings
Change your advertising choice now. Accepting lets us measure visits, sign-ups and purchases with Meta; declining stops it.
What we send to Meta
We use the Meta Pixel (the advertising tool behind Facebook and Instagram) to measure how the site performs and to improve our ads. Meta receives a record when:
- a visit happens — every page you open sends the page address, your browser and device details, and a cookie that identifies your browser;
- a sign-up happens — when you register through the board quiz, so we can count how many visitors sign up;
- a purchase happens — when an order is completed, with the amount, the currency and the number of items.
We also send which product page was viewed, when something is added to the cart, and when you start checkout.
We do not send your name, email address or phone number to Meta. The records above are about browsing activity, not about who you are.
Checkout happens at Shopify
The cart is on this site, but payment runs on Shopify's secure domain. Shopify handles your card details and shows its own cookie notice at checkout, separately from ours. You can turn Shopify's notice on or off from their customer privacy settings.
Your account, quiz answers and marketing
When you sign in with Google or Microsoft, we keep your email address, the name from that account, and your surf quiz answers so we can recommend a board and remember your setup.
Newsletter and promotions are two separate choices, both unticked until you tick them. We record the date of each one. You can withdraw either at any time from an email or by writing to us.
Other information we collect
- Messages — the name, email and message you send through the contact or ambassador form.
- Orders — what you bought and the delivery details you gave, so we can fulfil and support your order.
- Technical diagnostics — page load speed and error reports, so the site keeps working and stays fast.
How long we keep it
Account details, quiz answers and your consent records stay while your account exists, and are removed when you ask us to delete your account. Meta keeps its own records under its own data policy.
Your rights
